Worth thinking through before you book

Four things decide which RV and which dates make sense. Have rough answers ready and the quote goes quicker.

Who is coming
Sleeping space and seating set the size of RV that makes sense.
Where it will park
Campsites, event grounds and private land each have their own rules and access.
Power and water
Some sites have hookups; others mean running on what the RV carries.
How long
A weekend and a month call for different packing and planning.

All questions about renting
How does RV delivery work?

Delivery is available. When you ask for a quote, share the site, your dates and how to get in, and ask what the drop-off includes and how the rental ends.

What does “hookups” mean?

Hookups are the connections at a campsite: electric (shore power), fresh water and often sewer. A site with all three is called full hookups. Without them, an RV runs on its own fresh water tank, holding tanks, battery and any generator it carries.

How should a first-time RV renter prepare?

Learn the basics before the trip: power, water and the tanks. Freedom Rentals has short how-to videos for the water hookup, the black tank, the stove, the dashboard and a dead battery, and the first-time renter guide covers the rest.

Can I rent for longer than a trip?

Yes. Freedom Rentals rents RVs short and long term, and cars and the home for longer stays. Tell us roughly how long when you ask for a quote.

Are there seasonal offers?

Yes. Freedom Rentals runs special seasonal offers. Ask which apply to your dates.

Is there a video that shows how to set up the RV?

Yes. Freedom Rentals has short videos for the water hookup, the black tank, the stove, the control panel switches and the auxiliary start button, each with a written setup guide.
